SYNOPSIS

Dans le Congo belge des années 50, Godelive, petite congolaise, vit dans le pensionnat catholique de Mbanza-Mboma, école pionnière.

In the colonial Congo of the 1950s, a Congolese schoolgirl, Godelive, lives in the Catholic boarding school of Mbanza-Mboma, the first French-language school for Congolese women. She became westernised, according to her parents' wishes.
